La carte est gérée sans problème par le noyau mais il faut recompiler le noyau pour profiter de l'accélération graphique. Différents howto existent mais j'ai fait un mixage de plusieurs pour réussir à l'installer... Résultat: 21817 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4363.400 FPS avec glxgears :-)

Marche lorsque l'on spécifie certains cheatcodes (vsync hsync) j'ai également spécifié screen mais pas sur que ce soit nécéssaire; après les cheats ça m'a l'air tout bon.

Alors là y a de tres gros problemes de reconnaissances avec cette carte. De plus, pour pouvoir l'utiliser, il faut installer un pilotes fourni par hercules et malheureusement je n'ai pas eu le courage de tester et je me suis donc offert un ATI Radeon 9200 SE.

Les pilotes - et donc l'accélération 3D - ne sont pas disponibles en LiveCD. Ils sont à télécharger sur le site de Nvidia.

et supporter sans rien faire en revanche pour l'accélération graphique il faut faire ceci Installation des drivers: -Télécharger le pilote NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4496-pkg2.run ( http://www.nvidia.fr/object/linux_display_ia32_1.0-4496_fr.html ) rentrer en mode texte en tapant knoppix 2 -Entrer root au login [entrée] puis votre mot de passe [entrée] -Définir gcc2.95 comme compilateur par défaut ( export CC=/usr/bin/gcc-2.95 ) -Installer les drivers: sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4496-pkg2.run -Editer le fichier /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 : Changer le driver (nv ou fbdev en général) par nvidia ( Driver "nvidia" ) -Redémarrer l'interface graphique, vous devriez voir apparaitre le logo Nvidia !
